I got them odered when my dealer had a 20% off sale so I saved about $100 USD. I promptly installed them myself and fired the Rocket up to hear them. Nice and deep tone to them but not too loud. On March first the weather permitted me to test ride with the new mufflers in place and once again...
Think I have read somewhere that the T-bird risers are a straight swap on to the R3T using the T-bird bolts (even though they bolt up from under the yoke).
Has anybody here done this conversion? I have fitted the Roadster bars and the right position for me is almost there, just need a little...

For those of you that are riding '09 and up R3T's what grade of fuel are you using?
My dealer told me I need to use 91 octane, but I am not sure if thats neccesary as the engine is not high compression and its stock.
Are you all running on 87 octane?
I've been checking ads lately for a friend of mine who is looking for a R3 and I'm not seeing the same deals I found last year when I was looking. A year ago I came across several bikes in the $6-7,000 range (paid $6,500 for mine, '06 w/ 14k miles), now you can't find anything under $7,500...
Just got my 2011 Roadster, and while on the site for OPP Racing got interested in their LighTeck Quick release gas caps for the R3. Listed colours available include Black/Red/Gold/Blue/Indigo - my first impulse was a Gold Cap for my Phantom Black Roadster- partly for more visibility in low-light...

Hi All
New bike, new technology, new to forums. Been reading up on items with interest. Thought I had loads of questions but seems everybody has already been there and done that.
Hey all, just want to say that I am enjoying reading some of the many posts on this site as I try to learn more about my R3. I have owned a Kawasaki ZX-12R for about 10 years now and I have enjoyed riding it and learning about it, but I have feeling that chapter is coming to a close. I find it...
I've ridden Harleys almost all my life. Over the past 7 years I owned several Hayabusas. Last year I bought an 09 Fatbob from Orlando HD. While I was waiting for it to be prepped, I took a preowned R3 for a test ride and it's haunted me ever since  I really love the Fatbob, but can't...
Hello all. After dreaming about getting a rocket for the past couple of years i ordered mine in November and the dealer got 1 in December and held it until i was ready to pick it up. Today was the day. I only had time to ride her home but plan on having some quality riding time tomorrow. I have...
I checked out two makes of "batwing" style stereo equipped fairings for the Rocket III Touring. The Hoppe Quadzilla is a quick detchable using the fork mounting points of our quick-detach windshield. List price is$1695.95 USD, but I priced some extras including the gloss black paintjob and my...
So I'm in the planning and decision phase of my next adventure this summer. One of the routes I was considering is a ride through New England and Eastern Canada. It seems like some beautiful country and one heck of an adventure but I'm quite concerned about a 750lb bike with a 240 rear tire...
