I assure you when ever I think of your fat rear ..... yes, it's the Toyo that springs to mind. :D

somewhere recently i read that shinko is the new name for what used to be called yokahama tires. they had a good reputation for being off road jeep type tires, the geolander was one of their tires that was quite popular with that crowd.

I currently run the Shinko 757 front 150/80/17 radial and love by far a big improvement over the Metz.
Yes I have on several occasions mentioned that Shinko is an arm of Yokahama and if you were riding in the 70's 80's and early 90 you may have even had one as a standard fittment they seemed to disapear for a while then reappeared under the new name as Shinko late 90's early 2000 and imeditaly got a few people that I know as loyal users because thier outstanding wet wether grip stll not a big name but big on value as they are about 2/3 of the cost of Metz:cool:

Nolton, what size BFG is that?
And do those have as stiff a sidewall as it looks?
225/55/r16
They are not stiff at all. I thought that I would have a problem but I scraped pegs at MV and no side wall ware. They dont even wobble on road grooves. Its the only DS that I have tried. Dont think I will change either. May even order another to keep around while the price is decent.

Yeah take it as a compliment... its amazing how rounded your tire looks now.

I believe that's my problem I'm thinking CT as I go into the curves. I believe I will start getting her over some more once my confidence starts growing.
The first time I rode on a wet road with a CT I found my confidence went way up. That made everything better for me. Gravel is the only pucker factor that I have experienced on a CT but it goes the same for a MT.

Geez man you "made" a motorcycle haven't you! LOL

I'm still a bit skittish when I hit the corners with my CT. I'm sure it will hold "I guess". It is just me but I think if I go to far past the edge it will go out from under me.
muly u rode behind me with my ct on the dragon and no problem
the more u ride u will forget about having a ct on the back:D

That G-force looks nicely rounded new ... no sharp edges from the start. I like the idea of the rounder the better. I've also wondered how a run-flat car tire would do, might negate the price factor since they cost more though. But the Dunlop run-flats that came factory on the MINI were worthless, poor traction and uneven wear.

i am going with the riken raptor 225 55 16 zr is this the correct size and speed rating that everyones going with
