Utopia backrest too big??

I was thinking about the possibility of using the Triumph pillion backrest pad on the utopia mount. It'd look spot on. How did you find it for comfort?

That's not a bad idea at all, although I'd be more inclined to look for the passenger pad off a T'bird or America/Speedmaster. I think it's a better shape for what you want; closer to the shape of the Triumph rider pad. Fitment would be a bit of a fiddle but there's 8 threaded holes under that chrome plate and it wouldn't be impossible.

Sure does look good!
So then, reckon I can't but one?

He spent 3 hours with me, putting the seat on, getting me to sit on it, taking it off, making adjustments to the shape, over and over, until it was perfect for all my niggling injuries. So, unless you feel like making a quick trip to Australia...

Thanks for illuminating me.
Really wish I could make a trip to OZ!
When the bridge is built I shall be the first in line to ride over.
Until then, 14 or more hours on a flying sardine can is WAY too long for my tired old body. :(
How much if I send him a seat and some ass-measurements? :D

I think he would need a cast mold and some photos too! At least a photcopy scan. :D

Thanks, mate. There's enough cheap options there that I can experiment :)

I can't be certain but shipping a cast would probably cost more than flying the real thing out here in a chartered private 737 complete with jacuzzi and harem.
