This backrest included hardware and instructions and installs on the Long Haul seats which have the square rubber plug in the middle, see last 2 pics as examples. If your seat has this square socket this backrest should fit.

Triumph Rocket III Std/Classic/Roadster seat for that now sold Rider's backrest and a Roadster Rider Solo.
They have a couple of pillion seats too but who would want those?

Triumph 05-18 Rocket III OEM front rider solo seat T2301820 | eBay

Will not fit the new Rocket 3 and I don't believe it will fit the Rocket III Touring model. I am unsure if this seat is still available from Triumph.
