Tune ECU help

See how i go over the next few weeks mate , if i can get the coin i'll definately get them , that way if it's within a decent time frame and Mitch has time i'll take him up on his previous offer to fit them up and put a tune into it. I suppose i should double check to make sure it's not a 14 R3R because arnt the ECU's locked on them ?
if you want send me a copy of the map in your bike and I can alter it unless Mitch wants to, I also have some 2014 maps I have altered for others but will need your map number to verify it so that is why I ask for a copy of your map

Wrecka,
In win 7 it's super easy if you can get ahold of a win 7 lappy. Install drivers, reboot and press f8 to get the boot menu, select the "disable driver signing" boot option. Enjoy.

Seems that I remember mine saying not to install the drivers that came with the cable . . . ???
hmmmmmmmmmm

yeah but also open up the secondaries or you wont get the full benefit from the ignition changes also it would hurt to add 5% fuel to your F tables to compensate the extra air flow you could probably go as far as 10% with out it being to rich, give me a call when you are ready to do it if you are not sure
Thats a good win getting the Ramair for postage only

Secondaries been wide open for a couple of weeks now.

I can only think i have an issue with a cable or the windows 8.1 program , Daves laptop had windows 7 and loaded up the map and the recovery once connected real quick . Don't know if i am game to try and reconnect again . I will see how the tune goes and then may have a play .

Hi Dave,

I am very pleased that your rocket alive again is.

Windows 8.1 will not be the problem, unless the system was totally bent.

Very often the problem is a defective or wrong cable, also wrong driver make many problems.

What also causes problems, are insufficient user rights in Windows, or active security software and active energy saving features.

Regards,

Tom
