Yes it fits under the bear claw. Even though the overflow bottle would be hidden, you may as well relocated to the air box anyway. You even use the same hoses; all you have to do is swap them over.
My overflow bottle was painted black by the previous owner. It blends in so much with the rest of the bike it took me a week, and multiple reads of the manual, to find the bottle when I first purchased the bike.
I can still check the water level by shining my phone's light through the bottle and rocking the bike.
I am bloody glad you got it sorted, My guess and it was from the start that you coped a dodgy cable.
Unless Win 8 is the Culprit, which I doubt as I am sure @Tom-Hamburg or the TuneECU software writer Alain would have encountered this before now and released a fix or updated version
Now you just gotta come back and tell us if I sorted the blasted pop or at least minimised it for you
Learn to live with it @dave64 it has character. After a while you won't hear it. After my experience with CES maybe a larger diameter baffle. When Mick at Tranzac built that pipe I was worried about being to loud so kept the baffle down to 1-3/4. The CES with 2 inch baffle has no pop and is not too loud
I went for a quick ride only 10 mins , seems to have more pops and burble now but at a higher rev over 2000rpm and not as loud . I will have to get out for a decent ride up through the hills to make sure , but to much on at the moment and weathers turning again .
