How did you go about relocating the rad resevoir under left cover?

If you do a search on The forum moving the puk bottle something might come up.

I have a bottle I got of wish a while ago but haven't added it to the bike was thinking about mounting it on the engine bars.

Yikes, I don't want to know. Definitely enough to have purchased another decent used bike (a nice Bonnie perhaps)...
Luckily I had a good job when I did the mods and payed for the bike and upgrades over a few years with bonuses.

Unfortunately, I'm retired now and repeating a similar customization process on my new Roadster is quite painful.

I also replaced the front fork springs on both with Wilbers Zero friction Progressives (added to the list).

Gratitude for the response.
Wonder if those Wilber front springs are any better than those from Progressive?

It's very straight forward. Basically just disconnect the hoses, unbolt it, use tie straps to secure it under the side cover and reuse the hoses by swapping short/long (may have to extend the output hose or buy a longer piece to get exit below the engine). The cover helps keep it from moving too.
One downside I guess is that if the top cover of the reservoir ever came off and the coolant was overfilled or somehow overflowed badness could happen to the relays or electrical components. I never heard of it
happening but mention it to be sure it gets mounted upright and immobile and filled properly.

Another downside is that you have to take the side cover off to check/refill it. No biggie for me.

As phar2slo mentioned there are several threads on this subject. Mittzy also makes a very sharp and professional plug-n-play replacement worth looking at.

You lucky thing my bonuses become the wifes shopping spree money if I 20% I'm happy as it paid for a set of panniers from the Aladdin's cave this year/last year.
