Single best mod

Man...you guys are awesome. Thank you for the advice. I plan on leaving the bike pretty close to stock...all the customization is for the Bonnie. I've got a vision for it, and will eventually get her their. I asked the question to see if there's any thing not related to power gains to be done on the bike from the get go (the Bonnie sure could've used a suspension upgrade from day one).
I know the stock exhaust doesn't souls as nice as aftermarket, but unless some one's still making the three into three, I probably won't be upgrading it for a while.
Ha...it seems the decisions been made: I need to start saving up for the R3.

I have done many Mods, but the First Mod I did was the most impressive...

R3 was stock standard and I thought it was fast

I had joned the old R3owners forum.. Pig9 and (Hellfire rip)...suggested I get a GPi-ATRE and pull the secondaries then hang on.............
I was very impressed with this easy to fit little black box that strrrretched my arms on setting 3....
I would rate the GPi-ATRE as one of the best first mods to do

Today its redudundant.. Just a simple Gear Indicator.

You should at least install a Gipro. Its a cheap date and will make your front end rise.

I did a quick search for GiPro. It seems to unleash some ponies and adds a gear indicator. I may consider this mod after getting some miles under my belt with the R3. I'm coming from a Bonnie, so it'll take some time adjusting to the power of a bone stock R3. Hopefully, they'll continue to make the R3 with standard upright seating position for one more year, since that's about the time I need to put away enough money to purchase a new bike.

Seriously the best mod i've made is mounting my number plate up on the back guard ( photos on original ' best mods' post). Girlfriend , my swag or wetweather gear then allow me to ride at a pace i want to ride at

I'll search for that post.

Not completely redundant. It also circumvents the computer from retarding the spark in low and second.
