I went to the Timonium Bike Show in Maryland today. Walking out with Pretty Pillion, I spotted this Black R3T with silver and purple pins strips and what looks to be a very efficient set of lowers and a windshield that must have come off of a semi truck.
Also, I met Darren, I tall fellow with a natural tan and his 2015 Red/Black R3T. He has not been here to the forum but hopefully he will join after I mentioned how awesome you all are. (I didn't tell him about Jim...)

Nice pics but Wow! I thought the great new wall was going to be installed much further South and not in Perspex. ;):D:roll:

I don't think I would go quite that LARGE when I get around to designing and making a set. I'm also going to think about making some forms where maybe I can shape them with some heat in the oven.

I am sure I have not seen another one this big. The fellow riding this thing must be as tall as Andre the Giant. :)

Okay...Don't start laughing at me, but there is no problem that can't be solved with a little serious thinking. It's the shop teacher in me and whether it is made for wood, metal, or plastic, I always have a plan.

My shins got really cold riding in colder weather, so I got the old sewing machine out, made some patterns and designed these. Three layers thick with fleece, a layer of insulation and a windproof fabric on the outside. They are held on with three properly position Velcro straps and extend from my ankle to just above the knee when seated. They roll up to next to nothing and fit in my bags to be put on when needed. They work pretty good...Let the laughter and comments begin. Just wait till you see my lowers when I get around to designing and making a set.

No laughing from me brother. One of the guys I ride with here where shorts while he ride but has a pair of leather shin guards to ward off the rock impacts to his flesh. He bought his, not talented enough to make his own.
