roadster not turning over

If you think the Startrek scotties sound Scottish well we need to talk, me and Mick will pay you a visit so you can hear some real accents:D bloody startrek the original scotty was Canadian and the new one is English.
What do we learn from this?

cheers for all the suggestions laddies, if you went with the clutch lever switch give yerself a wee pat on the back, i took the switch off the lever housing and pulled the small boot back to expose the two wires,red and black. got a paper clip and squeezed it into both wires to bridge them and hey presto she fired up first time. took it out and nothing again but back in and away she went. only downside is £99 for switch plus labour,all other triumph models around about £14 to £17. the rocket switch goes right into the main harness and the fuel guage needs the switch in place to work so ye canny just leave the paper clip in or you will have no fuel readings.cheers again. mick..
 
I think pretty much everyone would have gone for the clutch switch had you not ruled that out in your original post! Glad you got it sorted though.
 
spoke to the big fella at AMR motorcycles in renfrew and he said he would get me the switch and probably half hour labour,,

my new roadster had a starting issue; turns out the crankshaft sensor was faulty and had to be replaced. Bike had only a few hundred miles on it. Have over 7300 on her now no starting issues- knock on wood.
