Radiator overflow sight gauge modification

While flushing the coolant and fitting the new Samco silicone radiator hoses, I decided to have a crack at modifying the sight gauge on the radiator overflow bottle.

My one is grey, and I can't tell what the level is without taking the bear claw off.

So a couple of 6mm vacuum hose T connectors and some 6mm clear hose and this is the result.



What do you think? Do these photos make my neck look red?
