Picked this 09 Classic up last year from a former member.

The air box was already modified and no longer had the snorkel to the air box under the seat - there was a K&N filter under the gas tank on the end of the air box arm there. There was also a breather already added to the PCV.

I removed the plenum, air box cover and all hardware, I added K&N 1770s, slipped a breather over IAT and moved that up high to the front of the tank where fresh air could get to it easily. There is a bit of the crickets going on during roll on loads but it doesn’t phase me in the slightest.

I added the proform overflow canister to replace the stock tank and held it on the crash bars I installed with a bar clamp from Amazon.

Just a side note on this clamp, I don’t feel it grips well enough for highway pegs, I’d go with standard chrome bar clamps, but it’s suitable for this application.

I added a Fiberman belly pan and a Wiltuning radiator grill, along with the Fun Love LED headlights, I’ve yet to add the headlight eliminator relay (New Bonneville not EB) but I will be installing that on a rainy day.

I also used some stock pannier mounting brackets to hold some Viking Bags Lamellar hard bags. 10mm twist knobs on the inside of the bags hold those in place.

Blacked out some chrome on the radiator shroud to accent the engine. It’s a start to making it “mine” Last two pics are the day I picked it up.
