Hey folks, I just got the Carbon fibre radiator covers from Carbonfdr. Has anyone ever had the radiator off? The screws for the rad cover seemed to be buried and only accessible if the rad is pulled away from the frame. These will look awesome if I don’t have to disassemble the entire cooling system to put them on. Cheers

You are so right. “2 minutes, by yourself, you feel shame, then you go free” Hopefully you can see the push pin behind the panel. I ordered new ones as I am not a fan of reusing them.

...and replace the four semi-hidden top screws with Phillips heads.... much easier to instal than trying to balance the OEMs on the end of a hex key.

Also replace the push pin with a slide-in threaded spring clip and a hex head bolt. Auto parts stores will have them.

Those are excellent suggestions. Work smarter not harder.

Just remember.
You should only use a trained Triumph mechanic at your dealer for these complex mechanical fitments. ;):roll::roll:

This is so helpful, thank you. Can you elaborate on the "push-pin", not sure what you mean. Thanks

Answered my own question. Way over thought it. 2 screws at the top of the cover facing down, 1 large Allen bolt on the side and the kicker is a push pin holding it to the radiator. Took less than 10 mins per side. Looks great.
Hello Sir, I am experiencing some misalignment between the upper portion two carbon fibre halves, it happened to you too?
