Radiator overflow sight gauge modification

This may have been done before, so if it has, mods please delete.

While flushing the coolant and fitting the new Samco silicone radiator hoses, I decided to have a crack at modifying the sight gauge on the radiator overflow bottle.

My one is grey, and I can't tell what the level is without taking the bear claw off.

So a couple of 6mm vacuum hose T connectors and some 6mm clear hose and this is the result.

What do you think? Do these photos make my neck look red?

Green does not match the bike, good idea -now I never had a problem shining a torch in at the front of the Bearclaw and seeing the level PS take the bloody stickers off the oil tank.

I followed your lead and added this during my rebuild. Easy, inexpensive, and it's really nice to be able to see your level at a glance.

done similar mod last year will take a picture later right now it is 4.00 in the morning
