Progressive or linear springs?

Hew much does swapping the springs change the ride feel? I'm used to race bikes, so my touring feels like a recliner armchair.
After just going w race tech emulators and 1.1kg springs/ .78 are stock. A big improvement, after getting emulators and springs set correctly (real close) i learned rear shocks were now oversprung i had ordered for the touring and 280lb rider, well after loosing half the exhaust and 25 pounds the rear wont work now so i ordered a set of shocks. Full race tech setup should work, i will advise once i get rear shocks on if you want.

That would be wonderful. I dropped about 40lbs off the exhaust and I weigh about 180lbs in full gear. I ride about 25% of the time with the wife, who is about 130lbs in full gear. Currently looking at 444s for the rear, but I am very curious as to the set up you are going with. If you don't mind me asking, what has the price tag been for your whole suspension set up been?

1250 rear color choice of whatever you want, about 500 up front of course im talking touring, thats emulators and springs up front, you can get plenty good shocks for the rear just dont let them overspring you, getting the proper sag is critical if you are oversprung in rear youre settup will be off, and if youre to soft in rear front may unload causing the dreaded headshake, getting spring rate for your application is very important
