Paul Bryant full system for 2.5 R3

Just going to leave this here.
The test was just 1.1 miles. We will have 3 miles at Bonneville. Unfortunately the roughest part of the course this year is on the first mile and the first mile is where need to make at least 140 mph.

Our first run will be late in the afternoon on August 4th and I expect the density of altitude to be over 7000 feet and will be the slowest run we will make. I expect the 2nd run to be much better. So we will get the average of those two runs.

We will try and get some GPS data on the actual best top speeds of the bike but the records are based on the average speed over given mile and then averaged with the same thing on the 2nd record run - not the best speed at the end of the trap at 3 miles.

I think we might need 4 or 5 miles on the salt to get to the highest top speed the bike will do, maybe two on pavement would be the same.

Whatever speed average we end up getting at Bonneville I feel the bike would be at least 10 mph on pavement.

The rpm was about 6700, were you pegged? The engine sounded like it was at full song . How much is left?
I'm confident it will turn an indicated 7000 rpms, maybe not in three miles on the salt. I'm always guessing on how many rpms I'm losing to wheel slip out there but I know for sure it's at least 400 rpms on each run. So we need to get less wheel slip or get at least get an indicated 7000 rpms.

One thing is for sure, that thang is fast. Youll have done everything you can in a professional manner. You look really relaxed and its so obvious you are ready to go accomplish this. May this be your very best attempt at conquering the salt that only few will ever attempt. You truly are a real gift to all us that are just starting this crazy sport we definitely love, nothing compares. Ride fast you crazy hooligan, were pulling for you and the team. 🙏

Thanks Kevin, I've had a lot of help, support and encouragement along the way. Not many people will give you a ride on their Rocket 3 especially doing what we are doing. Mr. Bill has been there for seven trips to the salt now and at least a couple dozen other supporters and crew since 2011.

I know there a lot of Rocket 3 owners out there who want to see some good speed and we will give it our best and hand over to you and the next generation of Rocket riders who will do even better.
