Finding an external pump, and regulator was a pain. I'm still not done with that mess. But I have 40 psi to the engine. The pump I have has so much volume, the by-pass line needs to be larger than I have now. Finding a small external "high pressure" pump is tough. I also want to weld in another bung in that tank, for a return line fitting. Right now it only has one fitting, and I have a "T" on that. One line to the pump, and the other is the return from the regulator. They sort of conflict with one another.
