Scorp has all bolt in's. Pistons/cams only. No headwork ,stock valves/springs etc etc. To get 200 with any exhaust/air filter you will need compression as well as camshaft, unless you rev the snot off it and have no low end power. High 160's is common with exh/air/ good tune. I do not believe it is possible to get 200hp and 180 tq under 6800rpm without taking off the head.JUST CAMS. Art cannot show me that in a graph as it has not been done, as described. We all know ad nauseum, it is possible to get over 200hp with all manner of things. Maybe you yanks will get a new secret package from Bob out of this discussion. Hope you do. Have a nice day folks.
I dont get it SO pistons /cams only ? why would you want to run stock springs ,buckets etc what are you saving ? you removed the head but didnt install the better springs ,buckets , retainers etc and get rid of the over bucket shims and then your limited to 6800 rpm ??? and end up with 200 hp OK whatever you like

valve springs were in my previous bike and they didn't save the cam bearings from failing and destroying my engine. Leave high rpm's for engines with smaller parts too much friction and heat and metal turns blue s h i t goes bad and you need a new motor. I'll take the power under 6800 rpm.

Steve, was this in a Rocket motor? Where did you source the parts? If in a Rocket, who put it together for you? Did you also reuse stock shims and retainers?

04 fxdli 95 c.i H.T.C.C build. not a rocket.
LOL THATS what I would expect from a Harley and what does this have to do with a ROCKET ???

Oh, Steve, your nightmare was with a Harley, so that's to be expected:p. What in the world does that have to do with any modded 2,294cc, three cylinder Rocket motors which are such better engines from the factory than anything The Motor Company has ever made for the public? That goes double for a Carpenter modded Rocket motor and 1.75 times for a Nev Lush bike. Your joking, right?:banghead:

Should I tell you all about the rod we threw on our old 1966 Benelli 150????

Dummy... you're supposed to use extra virgin olive oil!

BTW, I can't seem to trace a small oil leak on my second bike. Where do I start?
