Cams, Pipes & Clutch upgrade

Yea it’s on the road. Thanks for asking.
My first tuner had a dyno, but left me running way rich, said he was connected to my 02 sensor, think he was lost. Got 155 hp 145 tq on his dyno.
Found nobody else in a 500 mile radius with a dyno that sounded legit on the phone was willing to try.
Ended up getting a local guy who drag races bikes tune it with a wide band and data logger, it’s significantly better than the guy with the dyno did, but no idea what kind of power I’m making. Guess I’m going to have to travel a ways to get it tuned right.

And yea, I got jerked around a lot. Worst was Reband pipes and Colvin cycles in OKC.
As far as stomping somebody, I think sonny was the one talking about that, same guy charged him big bucks to do a few dyno pulls and tell him his base tune couldn’t be improved on. I doubt sonny was serious, I don’t think he would warn them if he was really coming.

Thanks again for asking Kevin, this has been a learning experience.
I give no warning. While your standing their taking a piss in your local bar and wake up Three or four days later in the hospital wondering what happen sonny paid a visit. You never know when or how. Not saying it will happen but not saying it will not. Not making any threats either. You treat me right am your friend. You treat me wrong best bet is don't let your guard down.

It’s stronger than it was, not as strong as it should be. The best tuner anywhere near hear uses data logging to tune, so no dyno sheet, no idea what I’m making.
As long as it’s running good I’m glad to hear, sorry you had so much trouble after all the effort you put into obviously researching what you wanted and getting. I was glad to see you and your boys riding on that run you’ll just did. I figured it was strait but I came across your thread and just wanted to ask. Big hp good, riding with boys priceless

Don't know of a good one in TX, but I'd definitely avoid Saben Performance in Dallas.

Theyre in Austin. I just talked to them. They do the Rocket after its been mapped. They dont use dynojet! They use the good eddy-current machine like the guy in Jersey... much more accurate. $500-$1500 let me know how it turns out bro...

If you're talking about Sabin Performance, I wouldn't let him touch my bike again if he offered to tune it for free. 👎
