How can I get maximum power without carpenter upgrade?

Thanks for the info would be intrested others experiences. And to respond to Joesmoe
There has been so much written on this site and elsewhere, might I suggest investing some quality time researching the topic on the site. Pretty quickly you'll narrow down what sounds good to you, and then, perhaps come back with your favorite. Just a thought.

Congratulations on your purchase.

One bit of advice often heard, and I'll repeat here, is, you have so much power there already. Recommend you get many miles on your odometer before committing to changes.

Will do, I've stayed up a few late nights looking over ideas. Although a lot of exhaust systems seem to be European make... And I've had several motorcycles up to this point, very comfortable with muscle bikes. Owned two Vtx1800's and a M109r all of which I've customized. I'm looking to make my R3 into the ultimate muscle bike but also still keep it a fun cruiser that I can ride everyday.

For an otherwise Standard motor the best exhausts out there come from Auss they are the CES and Reband systems so I am not sure where you have been looking but try doing some searches in this forum and you will be better informed

CARPENTER RACING from Berlin NJ has 2 different style exhausts that are used on stock and modified Rockets for maximum HP output and VIKING from NZ makes some good looking systems that are very well built also

Does Reband still make Roadster exhaust systems?

Just a question for general information. I really like the look of @Paul Bryant header with the Rinehart can. Though Paul has confirmed he can make a can that looks the same. Too many accessories, not enough money to by them all at once...

Viking Exhaust.

That would be this system.

I have used CES headers from Australia, TORS cans and a Ramair filter from the UK.
There are only a few tuners around that can handle the Roadster ECU, and from what I've heard the new ones are locked. Anyway, mine was dynotuned after those mods and I did get 40 additional hp out of it.

Sorry was not thinking clearly at time I wrote last post (you know holidays = to much alcohol) I forgot one and that is the beautifully crafted Viking exhaust by our esteemed forum member @Paul Bryant
