The plug in the right side hand grip is for a on off switch for the headlight, (Not available in U.S) I have been working with my dealer to get the switch as there are multiple uses for a switch there. (a wonderfull place for spikes wee-wee switch)

Good ruck on getting the switch. It's not available in this market, and I agree, it would be a good switch for something else (not Jack's urinator either).

I have seen them on Flea-Bay on acassion.

Somehow, having an electrically operatred urinator sounds like you are ready for the nursing home or the pine box.....

A hint to get grips off

I've also got heated grips, so I've also removed those old grips and the easiest way to do it is to use air compressor and blow between the rubber and rest of the grip it comes off smoothly and with no problems. Also this works if you ever need to put those old ones back.

Tom and Flip,

Have you considered asking Jamie to procure the switch for you since we cannot get them in the States? Or one of Aussie mates?

I'd be interested in procuring one of those do-dads for my own purposes.

PM Received. The standard Euro --and Swiss-- set-up is a single l/h light switch ONLY providing for lo-hi beams. Lo beam is permanent (i.e. it cannot be switched off) once the ignition is turned ON. No while-u-ride parking light, in other words (apart from the parking position on the steering colums). The question is, apart from repositioning the switch from left to right, what sort of functions do you expect it to serve. Appreciate a clearer definition of your expectations. Thanks. Jamie

There is a button blank on the US version, and we were lead to believe that this part cannot be sourced in the US. We were hoping that someone outside of this country would be able to buy them on our behalf.

If you wouldn't mind checking with your local dealer to determine if the actual switch can be purchased and if so how much.

What a difference a week makes?

Will look into it. Promised. Next week, as the green machine is due for its 20'000 miles service. Your pic will help. Stay tuned. Best. Jamie
