Well, I finally found some pictures of the ecode lights. Had to go to a HARLEY sight to do it, but anyway it's done. These pics are of a 1999 FXR2 with a single ecode light at 25 feet. This is the same light used on the R3 (HL79564) only we have two.

ive changed my globes in my headlight and spotlights on my r3t, ive used globes I brought from local discount car parts store .. my headlight is a "narva blue plus 90" H4 60/55w meant to give 90% more light and 20% whiter, its the brightest adr approved I could get, $55 a pair. my spotlights are "motolite" xenon bulbs 100w super blue.. ive found them to be extremely bright and have had no issues with them... replaced them over a year ago thanx to a roo (kangaroo) jumping out from side of road and causing me to **** myself

i'm sorry for the delay, but now that i have a phone that will take pictures, i'll certainly get them posted in here somehow. i'll take three or four. pattern shining 100' from a walmart wall at night, low beams and then high beams, and then two of the view of the front of the bike with low and high. i'll have to email them to xhdskip or mexican, cause i'm way behind the technology of how to post pictures in here. as soon as the mud dries out i'll get out for a nighttime ride. i apologize for not addressing this issue sooner. once you see the difference, you'll see the light.

Headlights D.O.T. vs. Ecode

I switched my headlight buckets with "Ecodes". Here are the before and after pics. The bike has the eastern beaver kit installed and these are Piaa high output bulbs. The bike is stopped at the same spot in the road. Ecode's are worth my $80 bucks

Sorry. I forgot about this thread.
I DID install them and I installed the EB bypass with bar switch.
IT"S JUST LIKE THE OLD DAYS when we had control of our own headlights.
When big brother wasn't in control. heh heh heh

To be honest I have not been out with them. Likely only daylight riding tomorrow; but, I shall ask my buddies for comments on if they look any different when I am behind them.
