Darkside Review ride

160 pounds

Light Weight!!!! start at 28psi I doubt you want drop it any but if you do I'd be suss about going below 26psi I'm 240pound and run 34psi solo 36psi with trailer and missus

I am 228. might start at 28-30 then try up and dow 2 psi at a time and see what feels best.

OK gotcha!

You will not like it at first. I didnt but after a few miles and lower air I am happy and will not go back to a M T.

I'm preparing myself for that "let down" so it might not be as bad. I just to keep in mind that I'm saving at least $130 on the deal, more if I add up two MC tires to one CT, can do a burn out and not feel as guilty about tire wear and my billfold, and get more mileage out of it. Did I say that already but in different words? LOL

I will go on record to say that I have mentioned somewhere in the world wide web that "I will never put a CT on my motorcycle." So if any of you see that don't laugh to hard. I might not like it and switch back soooooo..... we'll find out.

I think what Darksiders are after is for CT to flex flat against the road instead staying up rounded in the curves. If that just made any since.

Well its official.... I'm on the Dark side... cant believe it.
Takes a pit more "pushing" turning the bike,,, great on the straight aways like I figured. I cant say I don't like it and cant say that I do. Ive got the air pressure at 28 psi right now and have not increased air pressure in the front. Yet.

Well if you dont hate it then the air pressure is very close.
Keep changing it until it feels normal then work on the front tire.
Congratulations !

I know it might go away but I can "chirp" second and third gear. LOL
I will recheck the psi in the rear tire because yesterday it was 96 degrees .... so the tire will be cold "as it gets" this morning.
I will also raise the front tire air pressure to 37 psi which is 3 psi more than what Triumph calls for on the front tire.
I could not find max air pressure on the Metz.... it has to be there somewhere but I couldn't find it!! Look again this morning.
