Clear out the Touring Cats

Just sold GTR 1400 . Looking for a Touring/Rodster
Hi all, the Touring is sure Quiet but I would like to make a bit more noise, anyone remove the cats from Exhausts ?? or Selling Triumph Off-Road (TOR) or Dave Platt Exhausts, as cash is tight , cat removal would make sense if other route is mucho expensive ??

It might be easier to just drill the exhaust silencers to open the silencers. I don't know what year they switched from a cat box under the motor to putting the cat in the silencers, but I know that did at some point on the Gen 1 bikes. You might post up a pic of what your exhaust collector looks like and post that to see if it's a cat or just a collector. The photo I saw earlier of your Touring looked like it had the cat under the bike but can't tell with seeing it.
 
The Triumph Touring always had cats in exhaust....
 
Don't forget the D&D slip on Mufflers. The have the best sound. Somebody had a set of them a while back in the for sale forum. I'm not sure they sold.
