Me too, will save the gasket, washers, etc. for another day.....was amazed that my 12 year old bike did not need new gasket or washers......I did replace the filter and hoses, although the hoses were still flexible and appeared unworn after 24,000 miles. After draining the gas and blowing through the Triumph brand filter I could barely feel any air flowing through it. I did replace the sender unit and that fixed my faulty gas gauge. I've read that WIX filters are cheap and not good.....so I bought a NAPA Gold filter for double the WIX cost......only to find out that the NAPA Gold is made by WIX, says so on the NAPA box, and is identical in every way to the WIX filter(which I also bought) accept for the markings. For the record, I reused the gasket on the tank plate, no issues, no leaks, it, as well as the in tank hoses, were still soft and pliable 4 years and 7 months after manufacture of the bike.
