CAT Delete/TORS

Did they stop making all tors or just the older three pipe version ? After market and Triumph OEM accessories seem to be drying up for these bikes. That's not a good sign. :(

This should be a good incentive for all you welders to make a nice header for our bikes. Others like myself wouldn't mind paying for it. It wouldn't have to be the entire system just the header. The owner of the bike could handle the rest. I need to learn how to weld but I think this wouldn't be something I could learn on. Something flat would be the start. lol

Mully go and do a basic welding course you never know you may be a natural?:)

I Did 4 years of evening classes at Tech School in Canberra 29 years ago I had a session with a TIG and like everything else about Welding I found it easy only afterwards My father told me that it would be in my Genes.
He (my father) was the odd one out All my Uncles and My Grandfather work/ed in the Shipyards in Rotterdam (Netherlands) as either welders, machinists or engineers, but I tell you now I will be going thru a sh1t load of pipe and other scrap tubing till I get my hand back in (to get the results) on the TIG I just took delivery of last week but stay tuned as I will be build a entire system .... with any luck it will work out the way I want it, It will be free flowing 3 into 1 into 3 system it will probably cost me a motza but it will be unique

The best and fastest way to get your eye back is to do aluminum...take just a flat plate and start to make your puddles..Using alum allows you to weld over other the last welds you made with having to brush and clean the welding surface..

Getting the hang of puddles and feeding the rod comes much quicker that way...using 1/8 inch plate you can weld on that plate until it is 1 inch thick if you need to...

Just remember once you touch the tungston it is contaminated...You must regrind the point...other wise it will burn black and make the rest of the weld bad...

It is that way with steel and Stainless steel too..Once you have the alum down the others are easy......Just allow the SS to air cool on it own....

They'll have me taking courses that I don't need just to make into the welding class most likely. By then I could have just bought a Jardine exhaust system and be done with it. lol

I'll stay posted on your endeavor.

Just put the dang jardines on and be done with it....Leave the baffles in tack until you want more sound...Taking the wool off make it bareable..when crusin.....but nice when you roll the power on..

With out the baffles in it is dang loud at full throttle...I found my set last fall for $825 to my door..I did a write up about how to install them with out loosing what reliegion


much easier if you follow my directons.....less cussing....LOL

The K&N filter set and the ecutune...it will set the beast free...LOL

Then you might be able to hang with me......:p

I might sooner or later. I would like to have a header that mounts up to my TORs in which I have already did away with the restrictive crossover, added KNs and have the TuneECU..... just need the header to rid of the manifold.

Heck I'm happy with the bike the way it is really... but like the look of the header.
