CAT Delete/TORS

If you install the TORS and the CAT delete does the TORS tune from Triumph make any power, or does it actually cut power? I was also wondering if Sanitune made a set of pipes/CAT delete for a standard/classic model? I didn't see anything listed on their website. A PC5 with auto-tune and tri-filters will have to wait until later

I have a Staintune cat delete on my bike and many people have the 3 pipes - Hanso, Mitch to name 2.
You most likely have to look for second hand.

But if I'm already removing the secondaries, adding the K&Ns, TuneECU, and exhuast, do I gain anything (besides a number indicator) from the GIPro?

Probably not. It's just how I de-restricted mine. Not into playing with tunes; I'd hate f#ck it up, especially it's running so good with TORs tune, no secondaries, TORs, Staintune cat delete and Dobeck TFI. GIPro was a simple plug and play and it all works really well.

I actually saw some second hand on e-bay just the other day but they did not have the cat delete with them for less that half price but I just had a look and they apear to have sold already but heres the page for the Std/Classic StainTune exhaust
Triumph Rocket III Exhaust

Yup thats all it would be

I may not be remembering this right. I had a tune in with the secondaries open 100%. I had Tuneboy hooked up. I put the bike in gear and the 2nd Throttle % went to 100. In neutral however, it was something like 40%. So I thought having them in there might affect the idle, but apparently, that's not true because people here say their bikes work fine without them. However, if you physically take them out, you must open them 100% in TuneECU or Tuneboy.

Thank you for the link hanso. Are the performance numbers that Staintune lists for their standard/classic system with, or without re-mapping?

I just checked the price of the Stantune system from a local dealer and about passed out when he told me how much they retail for. Ouch! I realize with anything you get what you pay for, but that is too rich for my blood. I'm back to TORS with CAT delete and I'll be done. No more looking around. Thank you one and all for your input.

yeah they are exy but keep an eye out on ebay they come every now and then at good prices, they have a much deeper sound than TORS and are 100% Stainless Steel including the sound deadening media they will never wear out or rust out:cool:

Now I'm back to one of my previous questions. With the TORS and the Triumph CAT delete pipe is the TORS tune from Triumph worth the cost if one isn't ready for an aftermarket performance tuner, or just for go the TORS tune until a tuning module is in the budget?
