Triumph GT windscreen on the R, worth it or buffeting?

For those with the OEM screen on R3R, has anyone added spacers/washers to change the angle of the screen, in order to direct the wind higher above the head and alleviate wind noise?
If so, did it actually work or make a worthwhile difference? Any pics, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I haven’t don’t this, but I have a hard time believing you could get the wind over your head with any amount of angle change, unless you 2’5” tall. That OEM screen just too small for that and is decorative more than anything. Maybe it would affect the noise, but I never really considered it to be very noisy. I must have skipped over the part of the thread where people were saying that.

It appears the 3 aftermarket windshields for the new Rocket all have issues concerning full wind to the helmet area, windshield flapping, some buffering and to a few, the noise level. All three, from what I have read and also owning a mid screen Powerbronze, are only slightly better than the OEM. The OEM looks much better although the others appear to give you a tad bit more wind protection at high speeds albeit 'a little' is the key words. Maybe someone will come out with something new but I'm happy with the OEM and the mid screen Powerbronze for longer hauls. Too each his own. Cheers.

When I first rode with it installed I could hear a significantly louder wind noise level compared to without it. I immediately removed it and went for a short ride thinking I must be imagining this, but it was quieter, albeit more wind on my chest which I don't mind, I installed it again just to double check and wind noise became louder.
I may re-install it and just wear ear buds under the helmet because it's the only wind screen that actually looks good on the bike.

All the aftermarket ones butcher the look of the bike, I'd rather take the wind and the noise.

Hello. Puig now makes one for the bike. I just ordered and will report back. Looks just as good as stock to my eyes and appears to have more protection. They make good stuff in my experience. Comes with mounting brackets for those of us with the R and no stock brackets.

I agree. Not many photos on their website however can return to Amazon if I don’t like it. Had to get on Amazon Spain which was super weird but still has free Prime shipping

This screen is extremely high quality. Metal brackets and a beautiful piece of glass. I think light smoke might look better in low light. Regular smoke is a bit dark. They also have black and clear. Highly recommend. Taking it out for test ride now...

Is this the dark smoke?
Let us know how it does.

It’s dark smoke. I ordered light as well and will return the one I don’t want. Just did 50m from 0-90mph. Very good protection to 75. Tuck in and it’s unlimited. I am 6’2”. Full body out of the wind. 65-80mph it’s in the the middle of the helmet. Orders of magnitude better than without. Def worth the money imo. Excellent build quality. Very good protection and wind noise reduction at legal speeds. Tuck in a bit or for a shorter man it’s going to be great even up to 100. No wind buffeting for me. Very very happy coming from nothing to this and the looks do not detract from the bike it flows well I just feel light smoke is the better option to give a little more transparency to the good looking stock fly screen. Applause to Puig for a product well designed. Revzilla now has it in stock per my request for $150.
