Wow, New avon cobras are incredible!

The Cobra tires on my bike in the picture at the track day lasted 12K MILES on front and the rear had 10K MILES. They were down to about 40% tread left on that day. The back tire also had 2 dyno testing runs on it too.

WOW now thats amazing havnt heard anything like that before

I have been wondering how the new tires will handle in the rain .Thanks for the info. Yes the Avon's are rated v for the ones that fit the roadster. The best tire I have run across has been the Michelin commanders but that is sad they do not make the sizes required for the roadster. The Harley runs great with the commanders. So far real happy with the Avons.

I changed tires from the Cobra this weekend. They were better than the old stock Metz that were on it when I got it; but never really liked how they felt leaned way over at speed.
I got about 10k out of the rear and was well into the wear bar.

Anyway, I'm really posting to share this pic.
I kept about 38-40 psi in the rear.
Yes, that's a steel radial. I'm no tire guy; but that was a little disconcerting for me.

Just got my Avon rear in the mail, can't wait to get it on and test it out, but still waiting on my bike to get fixed

Front Metz still looks almost like new at 5k miles.

My avon front tyre was like riding on ice in the wet gone back to the metz way better
