Wow, New avon cobras are incredible!

From everything I have read, they are great in the wet compared to the ME880s.
Secretly, I want this Excedra rear to melt in like 1000 miles so I can "need" to buy Cobras front/rear and find out for myself

Recommend you don't judge the Exedra Max by that G852 you are running.

My avon front tyre was like riding on ice in the wet gone back to the metz way better

Wow I find it just the opposite. The Avon's Cobras (front and back) have held up really good with about 7,000 miles on them. The metz I did not care much for.
