So I was getting a solid 38mpg, and sometimes 40mpg with stock 2013 Roadster.

I added Ramair, headers, and TOR's and now I really have to baby it to get 30mpg, and typically it's 26 to 28mpg! Can I do any better?

I realize that to make more HP it takes more gas but this seems pretty extreme to me and would like to know now what is the best I can expect with this combination?

Please list your particular modifications and what MPG you're getting. I think it would be pretty helpful for all of us to know what to expect from different modifications.

Thanks
Ok, you guys got me to check my mileage yesterday. Cruising within 10 of the speed limit, mixing stop and go with open roads, with the natural urge to accelerate hard to over 100 MPH, I averaged 41.7 MPG. This on a stock 2014 Roadster with TORs and dealer tune.

You guys are killing me. My 07 has never returned over 30. Usually closer to 25. Now I ride the piss out of it, and every acceleration is at least 1/2 throttle or better, and interstate cruise speed is 80 MPH, but I'm starting to think she might be a little rich.

I also wonder if the lack of any kind of screen combined with my large stature (6'4", 270lb) might be part of the problem as well.

Well I don't think I'd touch a thing if I were you, as you have the best numbers so far other than the IMFASTOO, for your configuration. Thanks for posting you configuration too. Without that, the numbers are kinda useless for comparison value.

Is your bike stock?

Is your bike stock?
No; triple 2780 k&n's, stock header but aftermarket mufflers (maybe d&d's), no secondaries, downloaded tune ecu tune.

I have a wideband o2 sensor, i need to get a logger for it and see what it's doing. I just thought it was normal for a bike this big. That's actually better than my 78 Goldwing gets, and it is all stock.

I've been averaging 32/33 U.S. mpg. Stock 2005 R3, I'm around 250lbs with gear on. If I tried I'm sure I could get better, but I consider 33 pretty good.

My Peterbilt gets 6mpg+/- :)

After getting 27 mpg on a tank last week yesterday I did a tank (120 miles) trying to be good and was able get 38mpg. I think could of probably got 40+ but I got on the Interstate for a few mins and well, you know...

I will be interested to see what my difference is. I ride a 2012 Roadster. Bone stock I got 40 mpg to 45 mpg on trips where I was not trying to be the least bit careful. Rode from Minn to ID and got that mileage. Rode all around my home town with the same mileage. Seems like it gets 40 to 45 no matter what. This week I installed a Ramair and TORs. I'll be interested to see if it changes now. Will report back as soon as I have run a few tanks through her. I have been sticking with the recommended 91 octane fuel that Triumph recommends. Hope this helps. I'll report back later.
