What's the deal with ABS and these exhausts?

Not quite as neatly done as the Zard but more noise, check out:

Baffles can be run in or out to tune the noise. Personally I find the TORs adequate fro volume (the stockers make it sound like a sewing machine).

I'd actually seen those, but you're right - they don't look anywhere as clean as the zards.
