What's your MPG?

And actually at that speed range, I've still seen better mpg's on long hauls. I run from Des Moines, IA to Saginaw, MI about 5 times a year so this does factor in my equations a bit. But once I'm there and have people to ride with I want to pull out all of the stops and show what a Triumph has made!

I'm not positive, I'm up for an adventure! But for the present I'll settle for a tutorial! Never stop learning!!

2013 touring here. Ramair filter and Reband header, PCV with AT. Mine is getting about the same as yours or maybe a little better. When stock it would get 36 ish but the power tripp derestricting tune that I loaded in at 1000 miles had a pretty large change on the speedo correction so I don't know how much of that was really there to begin with. I have tried several different mods to the A/F target map to lean it out a bit in the cruise range but I never really managed to improve it much. Probably being a throttle happy, 300lb redneck isn't helping things much

Thanks, ya I only weigh 180 so maybe I should be doing a little better?

Your best fuel economy will come from gently cruising around at 14,000' on a warm day. Your worst will come from 1/4 mile stretches on cold days, at around sea level.
Of course if you go VERY high then there is not really enough Oxygen to combust with fuel. A trundle across the Atacama or Andes and you´l see. And at 30,000´ it might be a bit chilly - though of course It would be a mother of a bridge.

On average around 30 mpg (US) - It´s been as low as 23 (Spring - pouring rain - 4000rpm - about 1800´). Cruising but fast cruising.

hi sonny, i got a 1200 harley roadster, but i havent rode it since i got the r3
mpg doesnt really matter, its the feeling that counts lol

I'm the same. I have a Harley Electra Glide Ultra Classic that gets great mileage but I get depressed and openly weep when I get on it after riding my Rocket 3...

I drive a 5.0 lt '67 Mustang Shelby Fastback and a the Rocket, both severely modified to make max HP.
Why anyone would buy and Rocket and mention MPG leaves me bewildered?

It was just yesterday when as I hopped off the Rocket a passerby proclaimed "With that huge fuel take I should be able to get right around Australia". To which I replied, "The fuel tank is this size is is to make it between fuel stations and it sucks fuel like there's no tomorrow".

We're only on this earth for a good time not a long time and I aim use every drop of fossil fuel I'm entitled to.

I get 38 on my Touring....it has the Jardine pipe, K&N lunch box filter...and a mild tune. It's gonna loose the O2 sensor here soon.
