Went Darkside today...

Put on a Riken Paptor 225/55-16. Removed wheel myself, so I could grease splines on driveshaft. Not too hard, thanks to all the info on the site. Only ridden 10 miles so far, still in the "getting used to it' phase, but so far not bad. Thanks to tdragger for letting me try his out!

thats the same tire i went with. got about 1200 miles on it now and and still getting use to it ,but where i live all the roads have groves and wollares in them. farm to market roads .but out on the open hiway its great.

The mirrors are Arlen Ness, the adaptors that came with them wouldn't work so I had to buy some seperately. If I ever get a chance I will get a set of the Triumph teardrops instead.

If it handles like a tractor just play with the air pressure a little bit.
I weigh 175 and run mine at 28PSI.
Same tire I got on both mine.
Well the red bike has a 50 instead of a 55,
but my daily rider is a 55.
think I rode on the 50 once, maybe twice.
Good luck and I think you'll like it.
Mileage and riding on wet surfaces is great..
