Last time I checked dissenting opinions, even those that tend to go a bit over the top, are allowed. Lets just try to disagree without resorting to personal attacks.

Sorry if Im Wrong but why is that you guys allow Phill to rip into a man that is down (on another thread) and yet you choose to have a shot at us as Tdrager said and I wouldn't be surprised if he just merely used a friends (if he has any), or work computor that would give him a different IP address it has his trademark crap all over his posts I came over here cos I could not have a civilised conversation without HIM that will not be named takeing the conversation of into the gutterif this Sh.t is allowed to continue I might just give this forum the Flick again ( I only came back cos a of a good man Who I had helped with some helpfull info asked me to come back over because of the darkside review and since then I have been actively been involved with a few other member in providing something a lot of us are here for, what have the scum bags given except anguish and confusion to new members (I know I was one of them) ....and now you have shot at me and Tdragger for haveing A shot back at him and if it ain't him it's his twin brother I mean come on!!! think about it, a bit of consistancy would be nice :soapbox: I must get of this soap box now as it has splinters in it

While I'd prefer to handle this type of issue by PM, since its been addressed here, I'll respond here.

As to comments by members that cross the line, or violate the Terms of Use. These issues are typically handled behind the scenes via PMs. In the case you cited, that has been done.

As to accusing a member of being someone else. Well, a little more than a similar style or a similar opinion should probably be required. After all, should we assume everyone that praises the use of car tires on motorcycles is the same person? Every time a user signs into the site his IP address is recorded. As I'm sure you know, that IP address can be associated with a location. In the case you cited, the two people in question are in different parts of the country.

If my response offended you, I apologize. We make every attempt to review all postings on the site. Its a fine line between responding to marginal posts too soon and responding too late. We don't want to turn the site into a place where everyone is afraid to state their opinion, nor do we want to have members suffer abuse at the hands of others. There is a mechanism in place to report posts that one finds out of line. Every post reported is reviewed.

As I said, I did not mean to offend. I merely want to point out that differences of opinion are certainly allowed and that because someone's style or opinion resemble another we can't just assume its the same person. In this case, we are quite sure that is not the case.

Different part of country would make it difficult, maybe he just has a twin and they comunicate telipathicly.. just kidding, glad to hear the other matter was adressed.
Please excuse me I'm an upfront person if I have something to say about a person I like them to hear it to, I generally don't like to go PM unless it is something private (as the name suggests) and as Tdragger sugests I saw the simmalarities and it is along these same lines that he (who shall not be named) still interferes with threads on the other site which I only freqent every now and then to keep in touch with some good friends I made there.

GP, just a question on that topic ....
Does the IP address change with a different computer on the same internet connection? Or does it change with the same computer on a different router? I never clearly understood that one.
I have to agree with the guys on similarities ... it's uncanny. Probably NOT the same people, but you can see their point while reading the posts sometimes. Very similar patterns arise and the frequent reader can notice things like that, I sure did.
