Well I'm in my 11th week  of my 3-4 week waiting period for my new Roadster. Today the dealer called and said that I will "hopefully" receive it in August. He made a lot of excuses, said that he had threatened to leave Triumph and then asked me to call the distributor. The distributor than made a lot of excuses, said that he could get one in matte black (it's a preorder but they would push them out - didn't seem right - maybe I misunderstood - either way phantom black is my color choice) also blamed it all on Triumph but the story is still the same...AUGUST... HOPEFULLY.

Not sure who to be more upset with, the dealer Spitzies of Albany or Triumph. At this point I may just give up and spend my money elsewhere.

Check Cycletrader. There's one in New Hamphsire for sale.

Ray Price Triumph/Harley in Raleigh has a flat black model, airport here too.Ask for Jordan Richardson or Christy. 919-832-2261 and tell them Ozzy sent you.

Well, if you waited this long than maybe you could just wait it out a little longer. Hopefully you are out riding something in the present time???

If you buy something other than a Rocket, it will just be a door stop. Or you see someone ridding around on a Rocket III Roadster when ridding you on door stop, the first thing that will come to mind will be…..Hey I Could Be Ridding One Of Those. The point is you will not be truly happy with what you have until you get what exactly you want.

Here is a pictures for devoted inspiration.

I had a long wait when I bought my 2006 Classic. One thing I found out is that if the dealer lets Triumph know that a certain bike out of their alottment is pre-sold, they will usually ship to that dealer first rather than another dealer that does not have it sold.
