Tricky Transmission?

Hey All, Anybody consider the sheer size and weight of the gears and inertia that they will carry? Sure it's not gonna shift like my silky smooth T100 that I used to have, but it ain't no T100. Also there is the matter of the straight cut primary gears, very strong but they carry more backlash than helical or chain type primary drives. I've just come to the conclusion that if it's big and robust I'll put it in gear robustly. Big and robust means it probably won't bust, and that sounds good to me. Marty
