05 rocket starts but when you put it in gear (any gear)it barely moves no matter how much throttle you give it. turn it off put it gear push it pop clutch barely acts like its in gear.put it gear push it with clutch out almost feels like its gear but barely. does not sound like detent like I have heard ,output shaft? no trouble getting gears before this happened happened. acted up all at once after shutting bike off any opinions or help?can hear it like it goes in gear

my first thought to but when you pull clutch in while rolling there is a big difference tho is whats me questioning it maybe just not releasing all the way?

Have you changed the levers recently? It's not unheard of for aftermarket levers to be a bit thicker through the mounting point and not move freely all the way out when you release the clutch. It could even have been sticky in the past, if not now, and caused the clutch to slip a little and slowly burn out. We have a bike in the shop right now with exactly this problem.

Does happen all at once mean it was fine when you last parked it, and the next time you went to ride, it did this?

have not changed anything battery was dead he got it started with charger rode for hour and half shut it down battery dead again went across street to battery plus put new battery in it started up &no matter what gear barely went with no matter how much throttle. I got off work put in trailer brought it home didn't start it cuz he took battery back but put in gear pushed it let clutch out nothing like it should you can still push it with back wheel still rotating not trying to skid at all but trying to get harder to push can hear it shifting gears when its not running can see shaft rotating coming out of tranny when you shift it clutch lever is not to tight on adjustment

When you have it running and IN gear with clutch OUT, can you feel or hear anything from the diff or shaft?
