ok throttle cables have been removed from the wheel engine is moving down BUT NOW i HAVE ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM two days ago i unbolted the outputshaft and it slid out as far as the frame would allow about an inch just to look so I pushed it back inside and put on two bolts to hold it now I unbolted it and the cover and shaft assembly are only sliding out about 3/4 of an inch there is a definite something in there holding the assembly
. a metal to metal sound and a definite stop at the 3/4 inch I turne the shaft no problem but it is a definitite clanging noise what could stop the whole thing to slide out?![]()
well isn't that a peach after this travail I am stuck whatever I try the bloddy thing won't come out I try to imagine what is in there that stop the whole thing to come out and since I do not have the picture of the interior I can only imagine the following ; the busted bearing (front one) having lost the steel balls slipped down on the shaft and is hooking up on something with a ridge since it is probably 3/4 of an inch lower than its normal position yet resting on the shaft it would hold the whole thing from sliding out if that is the scenario I am totally F+++cked any body has another scenario to propose before I call in the junkyard remover
