And as I was a nube at that point, I had no idea what was missing from PowerTrip's map and what was done afterward or why.

Since I had several requests for it, I put it out there.

How's that for a wordy shoulder shrug ?
 
When the dealer (more like a family) put on my D&D' slip-on's, the mechanic took me into the shop, showed me what TuneECU was (said it was better than what the shop provided) and loaded that map for me. I haven't touched it since; but I did notice a positive difference over stock. Now it's just my "normal".

The tune i ended up with is 20368. Ith tors and ramair. It had 20366. Seems the former is the tune for that setup.
Ive been researching whether open secondaries are beneficial. The answer appears to be "not really". Ive got no ill effects like decel pops and missing i had seems to be fixed by replacing the primary tps.. I guess the only thing left to do is headers etc.
Is there a mod for the tors? Like baffle alteration? Im guessing no.
 
Brother, I think you are a victim of marketing. The Touring was not de-tuned, it is re-tuned for its intended purpose. And that is touring and two-up riding. The R3T has more low end torque than the Roadster has. The roadster has more high end horse power. Unless you are banging the RPM off the limiter, the R3T is better suited for city street and highway use.

I added the TORs slip-ons and the RamAir breather, for these you need to update the ECU tune for better breathing . These mods are easy to do and do improve power and sound.

Some people are idiots, I still bang mine off the limiter at 9000 rpm. ;)
 
What about the o2 sensor? On the touring, is it something that should be removed? Will it throw a cel? Is there much advantage?

I had turned it off in tune ecu no codes when turned off there, i didnt want it making corrections to my tune and now its not in system, that bung is only used for data collection now, no o2 sensor . no second butterflies no stepper(suh dont tell) no second shaft, throttle bodies bored. Idles perfect runs perfect, I actually used my o2 sensor to make a venturi crank case breather.
