Hi Nolton. If you are going to put on individual K&N's I would just remove the secondaries. It only takes about 2 minutes and a screwdriver. Mine have been out for about 20,000 miles now. As far as I can tell their only function is tame the bike down in the lower gears so idiots don't kill themselves. I've only heard of one person ever considering putting them back in, and the reason he gave didn't make any sense. Just my 1/2 cents worth.

Well now I feel like a bit of a fool. After begging Mully for his Tune ECU map I realized that he has a Roadster. So his tune won't work on my standard.
Does anyone have any experience with the custom tune from the "Rider in South Africa" ? Or does anyone have a tested tune for a 05 standard with Tors, cat delete, and triple K&N's ?

My advice re secondaries is certainly to remove them but DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU'RE ADDING TRIPLE FILTERS AT THE SAME TIME - or of course you already have triples. Putting the old air box plumbing back on could easily make up a whole chapter in Atomsplitters next book. Added 2 hours to the job for me and a lot of stress, cursing and frustration.

So secondaries stay in unless I use tripple filters?
Which one of you men are coming over to help me do all this????\
Looks like a February job.
