I have just fitted some Thunderbike 1.5in T bars to my Rocket which has improved the look and ride position of the bike enormously.........one small snag though.....can anyone tell me how you get the clutch side rubber bar grip off!!!! Are these stuck on and you cant reuse them or am I missing something?
The bars take a bit of adjusting to ensure they and the clutch/brake levers clear the tank. Another issue is that the T bars do not seem to accept the standard bar ends off the old original handlebars as the threaded hole seems to be just too tight for the standard bar end screw..........other than these issues am pretty chuffed but would be even more so if I could fit the existing remaining bits.
Might as well throw in another question - can anyone recommend a bike to bike intercom with decent range and one that doesn't break up as soon as you get above 40mph. Needs to be able to communicate between 4 riders?
