Replacing rear indicators with LEDs

It's a nerd standoff!!! Personally, I would not diss Messr. D'Ecosse because he has proven himself to be an authority that is beyond reproach on such matters as these.

Now, both of youse cut the shyte and let's restore this thread to calmer waters.

BTW, I like nerds. The rest of us would be wondering the planet like dickless wonders without them.

Ok ok the game is up I think he's had enough - decosse dude u totally fell for it.

1. OP asks about inline resistors for converting indys to LED
2. I told him he doesn't need these (in the OP's own language) 'inline resistors' just the LED blinker relay (i did this conversion years ago and went through all this LED-ballast-relay stuff) - question answered
3. Then you came steamrolling in, all pedantically high and mighty, correcting us mere mortal fools - zoning in on the one 'incorrect' word i wrote, taken out of context, in a sentence of correctness - even though the question was already answered and any resistor argument was redundant... sorry but after that, I just had to wind u up more about it.
Notice how all I did was wind u up in each post and not provide any legit argument?

Winding up intelligent lads is far more challenging and less irresponsible than spreading misinformation to confound the ignorant.
Dude.. u were EPIC. u even went so far as to write a little maths exam for me lmfao!

Now I hope you will see the funny side and not take yourself so seriously. We cool?

I see - so you recognize you were wrong and now trying to make it all a 'joke', despite having several times 'justified' your answer - yeah sure ........
Oh how hilarious - man, you should be on TV

Someone's got his Irish up and someone else is as stubborn as a Scots loan agent.

Ok clearly ur not happy that u were had.
U must suffer from nobody-could-possibly-be-smarter-than-me syndrome.
Actually, never mind. But thanks for making my point

Anyway......just to share the outcome of the thread. New LEDs fitted along with the electronic LED relay. Works like a treat. Thanks for the advice gents. 20151207_175158.jpg

Do they make such bulbs that will fit in the OEM housing. If so, do I understand correctly that the LED bul(s) would neither require a relay or resistors to work properly?

As you may have surmised, my brain turns into mush when it comes to matters electric.

LEDs would have better conspicuity all day long/in all conditions than standard incandescent filament bulbs, wouldn't they?
not all some are vastly superior I have rear turn signal that are more " luminous than incandescant .take a look at motogadget turn signal truly work of art and bright
