Just noticed condensation in the rear indicators after washing the bike. I wasn’t even using a pressure washer. I was looking for some way of removing the lenses to let the housing dry out and found a little rubber bung in the stem (see photo). Is this covering up a bolt or something? I can’t find anything else which I can unscrew to remove the lenses.

Any advice or tips?

If you pull that bung there may be a screw behind it that holds the lens on. The drawing shows the LED indicators are a unit.

I just pulled the bung out and shone a torch in the hole. I couldn’t see a screw. I’m just wondering if it’s some kind of breather hole? I pulled out both bungs and used a hair dryer on both indicators. The condensation disappeared for a while but when the units cooled down, it came back again. It’s never happened before and I’ve washed the bike loads of times often with a pressure washer. It just came back from a service yesterday. I’m just wondering if the service guys had a fiddle with the indicators as part of the procedure or something. I’m not great technically so I wouldn’t know.

The old incandescent units had removable lenses so the bulbs coould be replaced, the LED types aren't replaceable. If the LEDs die then the unit is replaced. Therefore there is no reason to provide a means of removing the lens, but it's free to look. You can setup a fan to blow on the indicators and that should over time help remove the moisture. When I bought my Rocket (used) the previous owner had already swapped out the indicators for smaller units:

Thanks for the help atom. I’ve been periodically using the drier on the indicators over the course of the evening. The right one seems to be condensation free now. The left one, not so much. I’ll persevere and see how it goes.
