RamAir sale

You are correct. The tube does run into the air box. Remove the tube and install filter. Have run over 10,000 miles with Ramair in all types of weather with no problems.

I agree with Sonny..I installed Ramair on my previous Rocket and thought it was great...when you install it, you remove the air filter under the seat which leaves a good storage area for rain wear or whatever. At the bottom of that compartment is a small breather hole which runs down thru a rubber hose and into the crankcase breather. The crankcase would have "Breathed" into the air filter housing right?...so now its obsolete and you need to put the small filter, which comes with the ramair, over the crankcase breather pipe. If you leave it the way it is and that small hole in the filter housing under the seat gets blocked with whatever, then the crankcase cannot breath and that will cause problems..

Cheers for that. I just ordered, but the price is now £124.99 and with discount it was £93.74
Still, a good saving.

navigator let us know if its worth it fitting the kit ?
thanks,
ps have you any other mod,s pipe etc.

Offered just for FYI -
I found the install of that small breather filter to be a terminal female dog!
I simply plugged the hole with a chunk of filter foam.
I also covered the large hole in the front of the air box and have been using it for tool storage over five years with no problemas.

I used a long screwdriver to guide the filter into place, then used it to push down/collapse the the filter to get it on the nipple. Since there is no wire structure, it just bounced back to shape. Took about 30 seconds
