Yep, obviously there are people with XXL heads or there wouldn't be XXL helmets.
Just saying that with such a huge majority of people going with overly large helmets etc one never knows without some serious fitting and trying multiple lid types and brands. Helmet shape can also have a huge impact on this, if you have a round head and get a long oval, the long oval will have to be several sizes over or it will squeeze your head on the sides and leave huge amounts of space back to front, etc.
