Problem

Idle speed control motor was out of adjustment. Started to tighten the nut to get the 5mm and the plastic collar broke right off. Is this collar necessary for stepper motor to work properly?

Took the throttle body back off the bike. Not happy. Really in a nutshell pissed. The **** plastic collar just fell right the Fuc% off. Looking at Hermy's diagram can not tell if it comes with all the hardware. If it does I will just buy a new stepper motor. Money ain't a problem just running out of time. Need to get it back together and tested this month. Three deep breaths and a beer. would a small plastic washer serve the same purpose as the collar?

Just do it Sonny...keep the damaged one as a spare and worry about repairing it later in your leisure....Order the new one and move on.

No that ain't it. It is the black thing behind it. Truimph calls it a plastic collar.
