Oil leak on the 2020 GT

My 15 Touring didnt leak a drop the last three years.
I fell in lust with the 2020, lol. And if this is the only issue I will be good as long as they figure it out.That is the main reason i did not buy the first model, i will give it a year or 2 to work all the bugs out, then i will save for 25 years to buy one

I had the same leak on mine. There is a bolt with a copper washer under it above the shifter. It looks to be a connecting passage for oil flow. The screw is loctited in place. The torque spec is very low. I loosened the bolt a few threads with a 12mm wrench then tightened it slightly beyond torque spec by feel of hand. Leak has stopped and not come back. I suspect that the torque spec is not seating the sealing washer completely and with 50psi of oil pressure you get a seaping.

You should consider giving Triumph some feedback on that Chris. While dealerships are scratching their collective heads trying to figure out what the problem is, you might have resolved it.

Yeah not sure who to call about that, worried if I tell them I loosened a bolt they could give me warranty issues.

If this is for me, yes it was the bolt with the sealing washer above the shifter in the recessed area of the trans.
