Ok I have the clutch back together. The clutch cable did not come in so I removed it from the plastic keeper. to get abit more cable. Put a mediun strength spring on the clutch cable for a return.
The bike rear wheel will turn like it is in gear , but with the clutch engaged. In otherwords it turns but with resistance. There is one set of parts that I am not sure of the assembly sequence . I have checked my manual, the IPB and searched the net. It is the washers and needle bearings on Item #24 ( Lifter Piece Clutch ) . Not sure which side of the lifter plate parts go on.
Also where is the spacer #23 suppose to go.
Some of theses parts were not in there when I disambled the Clutch assembly.
BTW I have a early 06 ,non classic.

Right now frustration is in full mode. At least I have not installed the raditor , so removing the front cover is a pain but not that big of a deal.

Thanks in advance

I have a lift stand , and had the rear wheel about 1 inch abve the surface.

Not sure what fibers you used but if they are OEM the the front and the back fibers have a larger ID in the back this is so the anti judder spring and seat will fit in. If you did not get the stack right then I can see where that might give you some grief also.

If you went with MTC fiber then you leave the anti judder seat and spring out or it to will create grief.

I did not replace the clutch plates. They look pretty new. After checking the thickness , I believe they are after market. Could not find any markings on the plates. Fiber portion is a tan color.
As far as the other parts, In the IPB that I posted Items 13 & 14 . One is called a Judder SPG and is there, the other is the seat and is missing.

On the IPB picture #23 is a spacer Part number T1170707. I got a new one yesterday with my parts . I have no idea where it would fit. It is a big sucker . Maybe 1/4 to 5/16 thick and about 1 1/4 inch diameter.
The manual does not mention it.

I beleive that is a spacer if needed to get the lifter piece head in the proper location so the liftershaft can grab it. I believe it goes in front of the big flange on the lifter piece and the needle roller bearings. You might not need it. I would suspect if you install it and do not need it you will not be able to grab the lifter piece head with the lifter shaft another plus for switching to the newer style pressure plate, lifter piece, and roller bearing.

Also ... basic rule.... NEVER rely on Triumph parts drawings .... they are often out of sequence!!!!
