I know right... I used to drive it like my harley, not anymore. :) btw, do you think that is the gear. its an easy work beside taking the engine out? I will open the pan tomorrow when the part arrive and I am hoping for the best (that infamous bolt)
If you do it, i would suggest pulling transmission shafts and sending to Robinson to get it built. Just pulling the transmission shafts is not bad but alot of work. Most just buy another running engine and are nicer to transmission 😁, but if you pull engine and get transmission built by Robinson you dont have to be nice anymore. Its a lot to do either way, ive done it both ways, i currently have an 05 engine in my touring and it will not take abuse im sure, theres alot of slop in these transmissions. Either way its a couple grand and alot of work, probably 3000 if someone else does it. Robinson runs in the 1200 range. There are alot of small items that should be addressed while doing this job, oil seal torsional damper, torsional damper gasket, fly wheel gasket, sump gasket, shifter shaft o rings, clutch pack, detent spring, to name a few, if youre gonna attempt its best to read procedure in book and look at parts fiche at hermys or somewhere, just getter done and get back out there.
